I decided to open a Moksha studio in Vancouver after I experienced the overwhelming benefits of the practice in Montreal, where I did my undergrad while playing basketball.  Soon I was crippled with an inflammatory arthritis of the spine and spent subsequent years in chronic pain. Moksha was the first yoga practice that had a drastic impact on my pain, and I fell in love with not only the physical benefits of the practice, but also the mental and emotional effects. My home town of Vancouver did not have anything like it at the time, and I knew very clearly that I needed to share the practice with neighbours and friends. Fast forward 8 years, and I’m more in love with Moksha than ever before. I’m so grateful for all the generous teachers in the community and the warm and welcoming culture Moksha continues to foster so gracefully. This is a life-long journey I’m eager to share with any of those who share the path.
