I arrived on the yoga mat in a search for an alternative to sports. After playing elite soccer for most of my life, I experienced extensive knee injuries and had to abstain from high-impact activity. At first I saw Moksha as simply a substitute for physical activity; however, over time I have come to realize that my practice has far more meaning.
When I am in the hot room, I am truly at peace. I see yoga as a mechanism in which I can infuse my life with clarity in order to access my most authentic self (as I once saw soccer). Health of body and health of mind go in tandem, and through breathing in the present moment, I become intimately connected to that union. I have experienced the profound benefits of practicing Moksha, for this reason, I feel compelled to share that gift with others– the journey is endless and the rewards are infinite….Namaste!
